HMS Arethusa was a Royal Navy ship that was commissioned in 1934 and served during World War II. It was a cruiser and its primary role was to escort convoys across the Atlantic. The ship was also involved in several naval battles, including the sinking of the German battleship Bismarck in May 1941. After the war, HMS Arethusa was decommissioned and sold for scrap in 1949.
